Are you in the USA< we are, , this is USA form with USA car and books. we do NOT have , 07 vitara here, lots of others but not that
so what country are you in, that diesel is not here.
below is generic on all cars with HVAC, (not electr. or hybrid)
double posted, why?, use comments on the first post.
add more, do so, not second post 1 problem.
thanks.
the other post says the Defrost fails, gummming up you said which means fogging up, the front windshield fogs up.in DEFROST
well is the A/c working?
that is first.
in the winter the A/C is used as a dehumidifier,
this is how defrost (front) works.
and the dampers most work, to do that
and for sure the controls run the dampers and must work

what not read the HVAC pages in the SM (service manuals)
here USA cars only.... sorry.
https://suzukipitstopplus.com/Category/3-suzuki-service-manuals.aspx

but i look and your car is not here, because you are not in the USA. so the books we have are all wrong.

    HVAC 101
    no heat
    blower must blow
engine must be hot, 180f or more. 83C+
    blower in high, recirc, on.
heat lever max, or ATC, set to hot cab.
the 2 water hoses that pass from engine
side of fire wall to the cab heater core
must reach the stated in the JEEP,SM. service manual temps, mine is 145f WK jeep. USA
manual posted here 300 times, i have the WG book too.
if these tests pass. then we attach the dampers
scan the pcm for HVAC errors
    check fuses.
and make sure all dampers are in the correct positions.

that be it. on cab heat.
    its just a heat ex-changer
    water to air.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Heater on 2007 Suzuki vitara blowing warm air only

hvac 101

windows fogging up
well that takes 2 things working to do that 3 really
1: heat, you have heat. and blower works.
2: you need the dampers to work, to send a/c side air to the windshield. (it mixes heat and a/c flows)
3: the A.C must work it is the DEHUMIDIFIER PART.

i do not understand at all the sticking thing,
are you saying the controls are failing, ?

My egr valve on a 2007 suzuki grand vitara DDiS is clicking when I turn off the engine.

why would you do that. (if in usa its illegal and prove of tampering)
1: besides smog (NOX reduction) it does 2 other things.
2: it lowers exhaust valve temperatures, making them last and last.
3: it increase MPG, mileage. (can be proven easy with a simple test)
4: reduces PING, (detonation damage)
NOt only that, the ECU/PCM will fail the P04xx tests. and then not be able to inject or run spark advance correctly (see ping)

how to make a blank off, why? just unplug it.

How do i remove the oil filter on my 2007 ddis

You can use an oil filter wrench or get a rubber handled wrench that you can open jar lids with and use that instead to turn counter-clockwise to remove. If stuck, jam a screwdriver through it and turn it.
