Check for loose connections. The connector plug at the blower may be loose. Also check to make sure the blower it still getting ground connection. I would also check the fuse to assure it is fitting tight into it's slot. Also check to see if there is a relay inside the fuse panel to assure it is seated tightly. You should be able to check this to assure it is good by checking other relays in the fuse panel with the same model number. If so, try changing then around. A location diagram should be in the protective cover over the fuse panel. Hope this helps.

I have a 1997 ford econoline van e150. The heater is not blowing hot air. I got a new switch motor but some told me it needs to be timed. I don't know how to do tht Please help

If the fan motor is not running & you replaced switch problem could be blower motor or blower motor speed resistor if you vehicle has one.
Check with auto parts store if your vehicle has a resistor.
I hav enever heard of timing for/of a blower motor or switch.

Your engine missing may be half the problem with cooling system. Run following test to isolate miss problem: injector balance test, cylinder leakage, and compression test .
Then while vehicle is running connect a timing lite to each plug wire and see which one is not firing.(or pull each plug off carefully one at a time until engine runs smooth the plug that smoothed out engine is bad plug/wire/ circuit distributor/coil pack.
A/C heater are you saying blower motor is not blowing any air at you? If so Check for B+ going to motor If B+ line is ok then ts probably the switch. Remove on/off switch from connector and by pass with a jumper wire the B+ wire with any one of the other wires and see if the blower operates if it does its the switch if it doesn't ,jump B+wire from the connector by passing resistors and see if blower works if it does then its the resistors if it doesn't its the motor.

Ford windstar98 heater problem

its either 1 of 2 things. either your heater control is a lil faulty or the blower motor is going..up here in southern tier ny at napa the switch lists at $13 the blower motor now for the parts under the hood. main unit lists for around $42 the rear unit without the blower wheel lists around $43 and the whole thing assembled runs for about $120

(those prices are rounding UP to the next dollar i cannot verify if the prices are the same around your area. but NAPA can :-D )

Blower fan runs high only on 2006 Ford Explorer

if you have manual control climate control then the system has a blower motor resistor . if you have automatic climate control then the system has a blower motor speed control. in eather case the part is under the dash in the heater box. depending on the system you have, buy the part and then look under the dash for like part, you will half to remove the under dash panels to be able to see. the part will be on the heater box somewhare.

Heater not working, blower does work but not hot

Sounds like Heater matrix blocked, check pipes going from engine bay into bulk head both should be getting hot if one is not then may be worth removing pipes and trying to flush it through as would be expensive to renew it as its a large job.

i think you have a short in your blower motor. the resistor block which reduces also your speed could have damage also from the short of your blower.
