SOURCE: remove front wiper arms. Lift arm, slide out

Just pry them off. Make sure the tab is out the whole way. Sometimes they can be tough to get off. Spray with wd40 it should aid in getting it loose. You could even tap it a few times with a rubber mallet or a light hammer, just be careful. Good luck if this helps let me know.

Is it possible that someone replaced the stud that is mounted on the brake pedal arm and to which the brake light switch and the push rod are attached.

It sounds like someone was performing maintenance before you on the brakes for an exceptionally similar issue and lost/broke the retainer clip. Run down to your local parts store and get the correct retention hardware to replace the cap-style retainer and repair it correctly. Brakes are the last thing I want incorrectly repaired.

Hi. My bobcat skidsteer 641 has got hydraulic issues. We have just changed the oil cooler as the old one was wrecked, filled the hydro tank full of oil and ran machine for 20mins lifting the rams up and...

Did it run out of oil? if you ran the drive motors very long with no oil they are destroyed. Make sure the hyd. oil is still full. Usually the cylinders will act up first when oil is low. Try loosening the lines on drive motors to make sure there is no air in system, like an air locked injector.

Bobcat 533 tilt and lift not working

The hydroloic pump that operates the lift is failing. The drive operates on a separate pump so that pump is good. Find the pump that the lift rams hoses go to. That's the one you need to examine. Check all connections. Electrical, hydrolic lines, vacume hoses... everything. If all that checks out, then you need to have the pump rebuilt or replaced

What makes a hydrolic pump whine in a bobcat 331 mini excavator?

It is either low on fluid or it is defective, only two reasons I know of.

Where is windshield wiper motor for 1992 mercury grand marquis

1992-98 Vehicles
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the rear hood seal. Remove the wiper arm assemblies by raising the wiper blade off the windshield. Move the slide latch away from the pivot shaft and slowly lower the arm onto the latch. This unlocks the arm from the pivot shaft and holds the blade off the glass. Pull the arm from the pivot shaft.
  3. Remove the cowl vent screws and disconnect the washer hoses from the washer jets.

  8. Remove the linkage retaining clip from the motor operating arm by lifting the locking tab and pulling the clip away from the pin.

Bad wiper motor on 1996 dodge grand caravan

According to the Haynes repair manual Chapter 12:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable
2. Detach washer hoses, lift the wiper arm covers and mark the wiper arm locations on the pivot shaft for later re-installation. Remove the wiper pivot nut and remove the wiper arms.
3. Remove the cowl cover (from chapter 11)
3a. Remove the wiper arms then remove the screws that hold the lower area of the cowl cover to the wiper module.
3b. Disengage the quarter turn fasteners that hold the outer ends of the cowl cover to the wiper module.
3c. Open the hood and release the wing nuts that hold the front of the cowl cover to the wiper module.
3d. Close the hood but do not latch it. Now remove the outboard screws and lift the cover up enough to get to the washer hose.
3e. Disconnect the washer hose from the right washer nozzle. Close the hood but do not latch it. Lift the cowl cover toward the windshield and off the vehicle.
3f. Installation is the reverse of removal
4.Open the hood. Disconnect the wiper motor electrical connector.
5. Disconnect the windshield washer hose from the coupling inside the unit. Disconnect the drain tubes from the bottom of the wiper unit.
6. Remove the wiper unit mounting bolts. (Picture appears to be three (possibly allen head) bolts)
7. Remove wiper unit.
8. Installation is the reverse of removal. Wiper blade and wiper arm adjustment is measured with the wipers parked; correct adjustment is the lower wiper arm approximately 1.5 inches distance from the cowl cover and the upper arm approximately 2.5 inches from the lower arm. Operate the wiper motor and check that the wiper motor parks when the wiper switch is OFF.
