2007 1,5 Proton Arena. Cold starting very rough (stalls). Once on temp all Ok. ps yellow engine light on whole time.

You need to have the diagnostic codes read. Anything else is pure guessing. Those codes can point you in the right direction and often will tell you exactly what is wrong.

Engine only stalls when in any gear also when floored engine cuts out at 3000+ rpms

it sounds like a crank sensor if the vehicle stalls in any gear or when cold its most likely a crank sensor. located near the bottom of the engine. there almost always behind the balancer pully for the crank shaft

Picture of water pump on honda civic ex 1994?

use a stethoscope, mines a electronic, type,Steelman. but
at harbor FRIGHT (pun) the cheap one is only $5
we drop the belt(s). on a dead cold engine.
we run cold angine for about 3min, max. (water pump is now dead stalled)
no noise now?
make sure all parts connected to the water pump belt are
quite, with a stethoscope, (easy as pie to hear and say good bad.)
use a stick and wiggle the mounts on all accessories.
not running. P/S pump, A/C compressor , Alternator, fix the loose ones.
you can run the engine dead cold with accessories belts off.
sure can.
i never do, (almost) i use my stethoscope.

my comment belt in no way conveys , cam belt ever.
this is an interference engine
so ever do the 60k cam timiing belt service. no , ooops...
get ready for bent valves and VISA card.

Noisy timing chain

read the TSBs on this.
its either ok, or not, but 3min is way too much time for the hydraulic
tension-er to start working. IMO.
try thicker engine oil, not 0w , try 10w/40.
as with all things, like this, it will get worse. and when it fails boom.
my 2.5L v6 , dont do it, but has only 80k on motor and very freq. oil changes.
yours have more? miles.?

My 98 Honda Accord Vtec 4cyl. eng is starting fine, but after start the idle dips a few times and regains for approx. 3min. If I drive without warming up the car will hesitate and the gas pedal will delay...

Seems like the coolant temperature sensor is giving the computer erroneous readings, and it is not adjusting the fuel mixture properly for cold engine operations. You should have the check engine light on, indicating this malfunction. The idle fluctuations are normal. The engine is trying to die, from the improper cold mixture, and the computer (ECM), recognizing low idle speed, is sending it back up. Another possibilty is that the butterfly on the throttle body is not closing completely, to allow richer mixture needed for cold starts.

After it as rained all night, I try to start my Saturn SW2 1999 in the morning and the RPM goes up to 3000 and if I put it on drive it will shut off. If I let it run 3min. and shut it off then turn it on...

when u start it up let it run for a second then tap the gas let it idle down then put it in gear. it should run fine then. but its a setup in the staurn comp. its a constant cold start method.

1976 Gran Torino motorcraft 2150 2bbl carb. Starts and runs ok at high revs but as choke eases off and revs decrease, engine stalls. Fuel pump OK. Float levels and choke pull off OK. No obvious vacuum...

Are you sure your idle ports ( size of pinhole) in carb aren't plugged with something? What happens if it starts to die, and you give it a quick squirt of WD-40 , down throat of carb?
