1994 Toyota Land Cruiser will start, but dies right away and will not hold idle unless one foot is on the brake and one foot is on the gas. Is it the idler motor or the air intake sensor?

Is the fuel contaminated possibly, is the fuel pressure low? If the answer is no to both questions I would lean towards the idle air motor especially if idling is the only issue. Other than idling does it run well?

I have a XLT 800 and GT 1300R, both start OK. Then go to full speed OK, then speed dies off and we can't them past 3/4 speed. Sometimes they each die back to idle.

Do you gas them up at the same place ? May be contaminated fuel for them both to have the same issue . Alcohol/water contaminated fuel is a growing problem with ethanol.

Car dies while driving always during or after a right turn also occasionally dies after starting and occasionally has high rpm while driving

Have the throttle sensor checked first and also ask your mechanic to check if the engine oil is contaminated. If the oil is contaminated they will need to clean the engine BUT Not with water! Your mechanic will advise.
Good luck. had a similar problem for 2 months changed the air flow sensor, idle sensor before we found out the problem was engine contamination.

1998 land rover discovery 1 dies in water and wont start.

From what you describe the pump itself is probably OK or it would not run at all.
You obviously still have a water problem in the pump wiring or in the pump itself. Get under the vehicle and trace the wires all the way back to the engine bay, starting at the pump. Dry everything you can reach with a hairdryer (not a heat gun - too much heat). Once you figure it is all dry, spray every connection with electrical parts cleaner.
If this doesn't fix the problem you may have to consider replacing the wires - not as difficult as it sounds.

How do you change the alternator on a 2002 Freelander 2.5L

On the 2002 Freelander it is in deed tricky. Basically you will need to support the front of the engine as you will be removing the front engine mount in the process of removing the lower mounting bolt from the alternator. You will also need to work the belt off the pulley without damaging it as well. The whole job takes about an hour. Be certian that you have disconnected the battery prior to starting your job.

Hi there, just checked my oil level and it was a yellowy brown colour and covered the entire dipstick! its a 99 petrol (k series)

Well one big problem with the dipstick housings for land rover is their size. They allow for a lot of condensation to form in the tube making it look like there is water in the crankcase. To make sure that this is all that is happening change your oil and make sure its not getting water in the crankcase. As far as condensation in the housing itself, every Land Rover if have seen has the same condition. The only way to be positive is to see how the oil looks in the pan itself and unfortunately every time you clean the dipstick it gets contaminated from the housing walls.
