Locate 02 sensor

On the I6 engine, the precat sensor is located on the passenger side of the engine right below the exhaust manifold. Easty to get to, unplug the sensor and use an 02 sensor socket to remove. Post cat sensor is underneath after the cat. The connector to unplug is located in a difficult position, near the top of the transmission. I find that moving yourself toward the rear of the car and reach in the easiest. As opposed to reaching in right above the 02 sensor.

Where is throttlebody located on a 2005 chev trailblazer

the air cleaner is always connected to the throttle body with a large hose as theirs more than one different engine I'll just guess it's a 4.2 liter and there fore it's right in the middle of the motor with an elbow type hose connected to the air cleaner mounted to it.

Air filter location on 2008 trailblazer

For the I6 engine air filter (not cabin filter).....it's right in the front of the engine compartment. Looking at the engine, it's on your left hand side right behind the headlight. Big black box with a large hose toing up and to the right hooked to it. This has 2-3 screws, if I remember right, one at the top, one on the side, and one on bottom

Sparkplug locations

Right below the plastic resonator on the top, you can actually see the tops of the coils near the firewall just by looking under the resonator. Remove this and the hose going to the air cleaner. You'll see 6 coils visable (2 screws each), remove these then remove the plugs.

Vacume hose connections

There is a rigid white vacuum line connection on the right hand side (as you face face the engine under the hood) of the transmission casing. This line makes it way up between the air feed pipes of cylinders 3 and 4 on the intake manifod. It is connected to a rubber right-angle connector fitted on nipple on the top of air pipe for cylinder 3 just beneath the fuel rail and about 30mm from the injector

Air will blow out of floor vents and defrost vents but not air vents

Vacuum hose for air vents is not connected. These black hoses should be accessable by feeling under the dashboard. The hose just slides onto the air vent intake. Hope this helped.

Code P0410- Secondary Air Injection Malfunction

The air injection reaction system (AIR) is on all 2004+ 4.2's. There is an electric blower under the truck, tucked inside the frame rail about under the drivers seat. The blower draws it's clean air from a hose tied into the air inlet tube between the airfilter box and Throttle body, pressurizes it slightly and blows this clean air into a port in the cylinder head directly above the exhaust manifold, dead center. There is a can shaped check valve bolted to this port with the air hose clamped to it and an electrical connection. The most common failure point of this system is this check valve. Remove the hose, the electrical connection and 2 bolts and it's off. Very easy. Problem is, it's about a $125 dealer only item.:banghead: The check valve gets corroded/cruded up and doesnt seat. Let it go long enough and moisture from the exhaust can back flow into the system and destroy the $$$ electric air blower. I'd start by removing and checking the valve and check the hoses for water.
Inspect the air pump and wire harness under the Trailblazer's frame rail, since you did mentioned that your had your transmission serviced and they would have had to work under there to remove the transmission pan to replace the transmission fluid and filter. There are 2 fuses you need to check also. AIR fuse 60amp....AIR solenoid fuse 15amp.
Good luck and thank you for using Fixya
