How do i flush the radiator on a 1997 dodge intrepid?

remove the top radiator hose and the bottom radiator hose and put the hose in the bottom and let it all flow out the top. Personally flushing does nothing unless it is to remove oil residue as blocked cores do not unblock. Have a flow test done by a competent radiator shop and consider a new radiator as a long term fix.

1997 dodge intrepid shut off while driving down the road acts like it wants to start but wont

It's common for them to have a bad crank shaft sensor. It is located half way up the bell housing on the passenger side. It takes a 13/32 socket and a 6in extension. Remove the air intake tube and the coil pack ( same socket ) and you can get to it from the top. It just pulls out after you take out the one bolt on the bottom. The part is about $40. Hope this helps.

When you removed the alarm unit you cut the line to the Starter kill switch that was installed. Remove the starter kill switch which is most likely located under the dash spliced into the ignition wiring harness.

Do my 2004 dodge intrepid have a kill switch?

Your dodge has an antitheft system that shuts down the ignition and fuel system when the lock was tampered with. This is why they did not take the car your anti theft system did exactly what it was designed to do. You will need to get it to the dealer to get the system reset.

Replacing a starter on a 1997 Dodge Intrepid

No, you can access the starter from the bottom of the engine without having to remove anything else. I replaced the starter on my 94 3.3 myself without having to remove anything else. Good Luck!!!!!
