WHERE IS THE CRANK SENCER ON A 1993 SILVERADO 1500 CHEVROLETY 5.7

1993 5.7 liters didn't have a crank sensor. They used a pickup coil in the distributor to control spark and injector pulses. (Throttle body injection).

1988 gmc k1500 reset computer now truck wont start

Other than holding the throttle open until the computer re-learns the throttle position, I doubt the computer has lost anything needed for the truck to start.
Check for spark at the plugs and fuel pressure at the injectors like any other no start issue.

Where are the cam & crank position sensors for a 1999 chevy suburbon 5.7?

THE crank sensor is located at bottom of timing cover on front of engine if you look under engine below crank pulley around oil pan timing cover you will see it. the cam sensor is in the distributor.

1999 chevy pick up 1500 series 4x4 has spark getting fuel new crank position sensor back fires through throttle body wont start

the back firing sounds like to me that the spark plug wires are not in right position on distributor cap, firing on wrong cylinder, did you remove distributor or distributor cap?

Chevy k1500 5.7 v8 wont start

Sounds like your timing is off when you placed the distributor back in or your spark plug wires are crossed. Start with the simple and check the spark plug wire firing order. 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 Cylinder numbers drivers side 1-3-5-7 radiator to firewall. Cylinder numbers passenger side 2-4-6-8 radiator to firewall. Distributor cap #1 is at 5 O'clock and rotates clock wise. Once that is establish to be good then make sure the cylinder 1 is at TDC with the distributor rotor at the #1 position. Good luck and hope it's a crossed firing order.

97 chevy 4.3 liter no spark no fuel pump running.

4.3 and 2.8 motors have a ceramic module in the distributor. if you have alot of miles on the truck, and there is no spark, that module is usually the culprit. easy to replace with a nut driver and some dielectric grease. mod is located in the distributor when you take the cap off look straight dowm and its right there.
also check eec relay and fuse. that will also cause the prob.

Engine won't spark' distributor's ohms OK

if you are getting no spark you have 3 different things that could be your problem #1 would be the coil. #2 would be the ignition module located inside the distributor. #3 would be the crank position sensor the last one would throw a code and turn on your service engine soon light.

Intermittent long crank times hot or cold service lamp on intermi

Code 43 has different meanings. It has to do with the knock sensor, electronic spark timing failure, left O2 sensor failure, and equate code 42a. Ithink that has to do with ignition switch failure. Good luck.
