NEED TO REPLACE MY AIR FILTER ON MY 2003 FORD FOCUS 2.3 LITER

I believe in 2003, we put a 100,000 mile Air filter assembly on the Focus to comply with California Zero emissions rule. Called PZEV. So, your filter should be a combination air filter/housing assembly that is sealed so no fuel vapors can escape. A new assmembly is over $150, so don't replace it unless you find one cheap on ebay. IF you really need one, I can get you one for 10% over cost. You can pay through Paypal.

Instructions for replacement of fuel and air filter. ford f-150, 5.4L, 2008,auto trans.

When replacing the filter element, carefully remove all dirt from inside of the housing. Large pieces of dirt and stones may accumulate there. It would be disastrous if that dirt got into the cylinders. Also make sure the air cleaner housing is properly aligned and closed around the filter to ensure good airflow of clean air.

1989 ford f-150 not starting, new plugs wires, turns over, no start, maybe unburned fuel?

If it turns over the problem is either the spark plugs or the fuel filter or fuel pump. Begin by checking the spark plugs and changing the fuel filter.
