Buick regal 2000 car wont do nothing. . when i turn key i just shows the sec life

sec life ?????? SECURITY LIGHT ? anti-theft system problem . The Pass-Key II® Theft Deterrent system prevents vehicle theft by disabling the starter motor and fuel system. If the Body Control Module (BCM) dose not identify the use of the correct ignition key to start the vehicle, the (BCM) will communicate a message to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) which will disable the crank relay and fuel delivery to the engine.
When the (BCM) identifies the use of the correct ignition key (resistor pellet) to start the vehicle, the (BCM) will send a fuel enable and starter enable message to the (PCM) which will allow the vehicle to start.

Buick century 3.1 2000 security light staying on car wont crank what can that be

It's the anti-theft system . (SECURITY ) Keeps vehicle from being stolen !
Important: If the wrong ignition key is used in an attempt to start the vehicle, a Data Trouble Code (DTC) will be set and the Body Control Module (BCM) will not send a fuel enable or starter enable message to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) for three minutes even if the correct ignition is used.

Your best bet would be have it towed to a qualified repair shop !

Could I put a toggle switch in my car instead of a ignition switch in a 2001 Chevy cavalier? What all dose a toggle switch require to work? What dose it all need to connect to?

On vehicles that have several control modules connected by serial data circuits, one module is the Power Mode Master, PMM. On this vehicle the PMM is the BCM. The PMM receives 2 signals from the ignition switch.
To determine the correct power mode the PMM uses the following circuits:
?€¢
Accessory voltage

?€¢
Ignition 1 voltage

2010 landrover smaller SUV LT rear window auto down works but auto up dose not repl. The regulator. Tried to rest hold down and hold up 7 sce. Still doesn't work

Most likely the BCM is the problem since the same circuit is used for both the up and down directions, only difference is the BCM reverses the current flow to the window motor, but its done internally byt the BCM.

How do u find the unlock lock rely work from inside but dose not work with remoto batter is new and has ben ch oou works when u reprogem it then asf ter a min or so just stops HELP

Sounds too Me like You're BCM [Body Control Module] is Shorted, Since the Relay is in the BCM Not a Standard Rely so to speak.in the course of replacing the BCM I would like to suggest that if you have a Sun Roof, Make sure that the Drain for it is also Cleared since the Drainage Problem that All Explorers Have End up with water in the BCM caused By a Bad Drain from the Sun roof Drain that lets it leak inside the car.

Gas gauge dose not work on 2007 chev malibu

That 2007 may be part of the BCM issue do a search see it it has that recall if so that may be the problem. The BCM controls alot of the electronics including dash cluster. We traded our 2011 malibu because the dealer didnt have the parts yet and the BCM was causing the car to start intermittently and the dash cluster needles to jump around.

Whitehead fuse works the gage lights on my 2004 chev 2500HD I've looked in both fuse panels and I can't find the fuse dose anyone know which one it is

I don't think there is a fuse for the dash lights.
On newer GM trucks the lighting is handle by the body computer, the switches provide ground to the BCM and power for the dash lights comes from it.
The headlight switch provides a ground to the BCM and to the headlight relays. All of the external lights have fuses.
If you can't find a fuse for dash lights in the owners manual I will say it has been dropped.

2004 jeep liberty bcm location where is it? what dose it look like?

Depending on problem you are experiencing, I would take the time to stop at a dealer to check on recalls and/or service bulletins that pertain to BCM 's acting up and software updates that may cure problems. (free of charge I presume.) if not, give owner relations a call at Chrysler and see what they say. BCM's are usually not too cheap, so I would definitely check it out first.
