If you know for sure you have hot coolant going in and out of the heater core(feel the hoses and make sure the heater control valve is open if it has one). I would say the air blend door is stuck in the cold position and it is usually controlled by an actuator.

You should check the heater control valve it might not be opening up, also if it's vacuum controlled check to see that there is a suction going to the hose and if it is electrically controllable check that it has power to it

There should be a vac controlled valve on the heater hose near the firewall. If that valve fails, or something happens to the vac source, the valve will not open or close. I would check that valve and make sure it is working. Both heater hoses should be hot when the engine is warmed up.

Heater blows cold air only. Engine is at normal temp. New thermostate. Water flows though heater core.

if you put a 160 degree thermostat in it or lower it will not get hot you need at least a 190 a low temp thermostat is only good in the summer i bet that will solve your problem

Heater only blows heat when the car is moving

These had a problem with getting air pockets in the heater core, because it sits lower than the engine. if the cooling system is rusty, and hasn't been serviced regular, the core might be part-pluged or pluged.

My 91 cadillac devile has no heat , just cool air blows even when

The heater in your car depends upon a flow of hot coolant going through the heater core in order to get hot air into the car. If the heater core is partially plugged, it will restrict the flow. If you have a head gasket that is putting exhaust into the cooling system, it will eventually get into the heater core. When this happens there is no coolant in the heater core to make the air warm. If the water pump vanes have corroded away the result will be very poor coolant circulation causing the heater to not blow hot air. If your car is equipped with a heater control valve that is not functioning properly, the coolant flow will be restricted. One or a combination of these factors is likely the culprit in your case.

if the car is not overheating, the thermostat is working fine.... replace or flush the heater core multiple times to try and eliminate sediment build-up.

1991 cadillac deville NO HEAT

I had the same problem in my 1991 caddy, and turned out to be the blend door. It is located in back of the glove compartment. There are two kinds, the automatic blend doors and the manuel ones. Since the temperature is automatic and programmed to stay where it is set, it would be an "automatic blend door". Not a hard fix...
