you have a shorted diode or internal voltage regulator problem ! Is the check engine light on ? This charging system is computer controlled ! Don't just change it have it checked !
first i would open my side panels and fuse boxes to make sure it is all dry , take it from there it sounds like moisture problem in one of the relays or controllers
The beeping sound is a warning sound that lets the driver know that a door is open and he shouldn't drive off. It is normal and nothing to worry about. Good Luck. george
Suggest that you reset the car's computer... by removing the ground lead from the battery and waiting for 3-4 minutes.
Reattach it and it should clear the problems...
