Please tell me steps to get my 1999 nissan frontier pickup into 4 wheel drive

Nissan dropped the Titan's 400-hp, 5.6-liter V-8 into a Frontier pickup to create this concept for SEMA. The Frontier is only available with a 3.8-liter V-6 from the factory.

Perhaps you mean STRAIGHT 4?

The rocker arms should be the same for Inlet and Exhaust. I can't find any spares supplier that differentiates.

To tell which valves are Inlet and which are Exhaust, the exhaust valves are on the side where the exhaust manifold is.

It's transmission time,Nissans are known for there transmissions that don't last long,got one,like a tooth ache,gets worst.Dealers don't like doing major work,just oil changes,tire,tuneups,etc.,will tell you something like your a step child.Go to a reputable transmission shop and let them drive or they might know the history of your Frontier,if Daniel Boone was around,he would know,what do you think?

Wow! That is a dilema! The only thing I can think of is that there is possibly a wiring harness that is rubbed through and when the engine rocks when the clutch is engaged, the wiring harness is shorting to ground. If you can tell me exactly WHICH fuse is blowing I can possibly help you to locate the source of the problem. Please also include WHICH ENGINE your Nissan is equipped with and let me know if it is 2-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive.

you need to do and scan of the ecm and see if the o2 sensors are working they tend to get lazy in there signals they feed the ecm when they get more that 100k on them ? try this first hope this helps

purchase a haynes manual, it should cover both years. study the differences and similarities, thats what i do.
