Question about 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Truck
While driving my dodge 2500 it seems to have a miss and it backfires a little. If I pull off the road and shut it off, when I restart it it will run fine for a while. The check engine light is not on either.
Some of the things that I would consider are a plugged PCV valve, a vacuum leak, a cracked distributor cap, or a faulty voltage regulator. I would also check the condition of the ignition coil. And even though the check engine light is not on, I would have the vehicle scanned to see if any fault code(s) are stored in the computer. (Never trust a light to not be out)Hope this helped and good luck.
