Question about 2005 Nissan Pathfinder
Then it seems to go a way again vibrates on slowing down again could anyone help or any ideas thanks. I aslso fitted new tyres ballenced the wheels new wheel bearings and anty roll bar linkeges. All seems solid apart from this vibration

I have a 1994 explorer that did the same thing and what I had to do is change the radius arm bushings as well as ball joints and tie rod ends - this seemed to fix it, however yours may be a little different but that is where I would start

Check the U Joints. My wifes xterra had 80K miles on it, same symptoms. Was a bad from u joint. Nissan mechanics and 1 tire shop could not figure it out.

Yes, and it probably is your wheel bearing. Hearing a sound like a chain dragging is classic. You may also hear a clicking noise or chain dragging noise when turning to the left or right.
Look under the car and see if the rubber boots that surround the axle near the tires are cracked and leaking grease. If so, it is almost a certainty that the bearings are bad as you have lost grease and thus lubrication to the bearings.
