Question about Oldsmobile Alero
Sadly your best recourse is having a mechanic or auto electrician look into the problem .help only comes from a person that can lay their hands on it .blowing fuses is normally due to a short and motors do short out

After calling Vornado Corporation, they suggested that the room temperature monitor might be failing as it read 65 degrees no matter where you started the heater. I took the unit back to the store I purchased it from, and we unpacked another unit and found the same problem existed. Therefore, the product is not capable of heating a room properly and I will continue my search for a space heater to control the temperature in my upstairs office which does not have air ducts for heat.
If anyone has recommendations I would be interested in their comments.

Turn up your outside thermostat in the outside unit.
You should have about 3 degrees difference in one stage to the next. So I would change the thermosat with one that has three stages of heat.
