I need info and / or the Safety chain-break bolt for Sears Craftsman chainsaw Model#358-350-180. Ser#00269D-202413. The machined-treated bolt/nut attaches part#530-054620 to the saw. My#7013884769.

I don't see the part number, 530054620, you've given for the 358.350180 chainsaw. Sears Parts Direct has the diagrams here: . I believe you need part 26 on the chain saw diagram. That is part # 503210619 and costs $4 from Sears Parts direct.

I hope this helps.

Do you have to pull the engine to replace 1999 Sable 3.0 DOHC timing chain?

You can pretty much look at the front of the motor & ask yourself,
can all the necessary parts come off with no clearance to work

I would say dropping the motor out the bottom complete with transaxle
& subframe, as a complete unit would be necessary

The question is --why the timing chain, never changed oil very often since the car was new & ruined the engine?

The cam actuators & cams are clogged with sludge, that should never
been allowed to happen

Need more than just the chains replaced

Camshaft to far retorted on bank one

Depending on the series of engine in your car, it may have part called a Cam Phaser. There have been recalls on the bigger V-8 adaptations of this part but the problems that occur are identical.

What happens is each side of the engine uses a timing chain for the Camshaft. The Phaser allows for adjustment independently for each timing chain and this causes problems when one side adjusts differently than the other. Both sides are suppose to work equally using oil pressure to expand or contract the part.

Now it is possible to have a chain tensioner spring become weaker on one side of the motor than the other, just as one of the two timing chains can stretch to different lengths.

You might check with Ford Parts to see if there is a super strength desludger for the oil to try to dissolve the sludge instead of opening the engine. If you can get the Phaser to retract to its correct position, things may pass. It sounds like the Phaser is hanging up and not advancing smoothly or the timing chain is stretched on one bank.

Please rate my info.

Does a 1996 Grand Cherokee Jeep have a timing belt or chain? And does either need changing?

That depends on which engine you have. Both 4.0 and V8 engines have a chain. The chain has no real time limit on how long it's good but from experience I've found that most, when well maintained will stretch to the point that they should be replaced at around 225 thousand miles.
Chain and gears are not super expensive and if you buy the best ones you can find, if you replace yours at 225-250 thousand miles the new one should outlast the vehicle.

My chain on my husqvarna 435 x-torque power saw will not move

Well not exatly a 1999 Park Ave,but I will give it a try.We had several solo brand saws where the plastic parts got hot and melted causing the brake to come on.I could not find a parts breakdown of your saw but there has to be something that makes the brake come on.Part not in the rite place or something mis aligned.Try to get a parts brakdown and make sure that everything is where it is suposed to be.
