It should be in the A/C Heater box held in by two screws and it has 3 and sometimes 4 wires pluged into it it's looks flat with the wires in the middle of it, sometimes it's under the hood and sometimes under the dash on the passenger side, you might have to remove the glove box to get to it

2004 santa se 2.4L Temp gauge reads normal, but heat from vents excesivlly hot.will not start after running for a while until it sits 1/2 hr.

There is a blower control resistor (manual system) or a blower transistor (automatic temp system) located behind the glove compartment in the HVAC box and this is a high failure item.

The repair manual shows the resistor above the blower motor. It says to remove the dash pad for access. You may be able to remove the glove box to get to it.

Heater fan only works on hight. 2004 hyundai santa fe

This problem is related to faulty blower motor resistor. The resistor is the part which controls the blower motor to work on required speeds. But if resistor fails then motor will work normally but will not work on selected speed like slow and medium .In this case replacing the resistor should help.To locate the resistor open your glove box and roll it all the down take off the panel in behind the resistor will be top right hand side. This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

I have a 2004 santa fe, the A/C blower only works on high. There is power from the control head to under the dash, but where it goes into the fan there is no power except for when it is on high

How about when the heat is on? You might have 2 reostats, one for heater one for A/C.The reostat controls blower speed Most cars only have one ,but who knows seen stranger thjngs,I have had bad blower motors only work on high.My guess would be a reostat.

Blower fan won't shut off its or climate control fan keeps running 2003 hyundai santa fe

Probably a stuck fan control relay.
Find the relay and remove it - if this stops the fan. replace the relay with a new one.
