Power windows on 02 Buick Century stopped working.

If all the windows stopped working then you probably popped a fuse. The fuse should be in the fuse box and you would look in the Owners manual for the location of the particular fuse for the function.

If your windows were frozen or even a light frost causing a drag on the motor, you could ruin a fuse. They are not expensive. Now if the windows were being operated in above freezing temperatures, then a window motor may have gone bad or a part called a "window regulator" has jammed and overloaded the fuse.

A glass Repair shop regularly makes these types of repairs. If the window motor is bad, you will repeatively pop fuses. To replace the "window regulator" or the window motor requires removing the inner door panel to get at the parts.

If the windows were operated in a frozen state, then replace the fuse and do not use the windows until they are cleared off. One a particular door is identified as containing the defective parts, then it only takes about an hour to replace the bad stuff. Many times a Glass shop will have a nice waiting area and dropping off the car is not necessary.

I hope my Solution is helpful to you.

Heater fan speed control only works on 3,4 & 5 on 2002 buick century .\r\n1 & 2 won't work. Is this a fuse problem????

No, it is not a fuse problem. Most likely you need to replace the heater blower resistor. A replacement should be available at your local parts store, and they should be able to help you find it's location. If you follow the wires from your blower motor, they will lead to this component. Usually two 7mm screws hold it in the heater box, but might be 5.5mm (7/32").

Fuse location for power windows 2003 Buick Century

There really isn't a fuse for just the power windows and if a fuse was blown that did control the power windows pretty much everything that the body control module works would not work so i believe what you would be looking for is the circuit breaker for the power windows. That circuit breaker is located in the instrument panel fuse block . You need to open the passenger door to see the fuse panel cover. Anyhow I don't have a picture but the circuit breaker is on the top row second one over from the left. I hope this helps and good luck.

After removing and then replcing fuse for electric windows the windows now only open or close about an inch at a time. prior to removing fuse windows were working ok

Have another look at the fuse-box. You must have disturbed something, probably in that area.
When you press the switch to open the window, a feed goes to the motor, and also to a timer, which holds the feed to the motor long enough for the window to open fully.
The timer will probably be located somewhere near the fuse box, looks like a small box, similar to a relay, about 30mm x 30mm. Make sure its plugged in fully

Do the power windows have a fuse? Where on the fuse box is it

your power windows use reays and cicuit breakers... they will rest themselves after a few seconds, somtimes enabling the window to at least be closed. First I check voltage to switches and motors, tapping lightly on thw motor and making it work is a sure bet you have a bad motor (window motor)

Heater/AC Fan does not work in our 1998 Buick Century

Fan will be under dash on passengers side , Removing glove box might be needed, Gm also uses a blower resister ro control fan speeds. First check your fuse and then check and make sure your getting 12 volts to the terminal at the blower, You could have a blown fuse, a bad switch, or a bad resister , if your getting voltage to blower motor then most likely it will be the motor. These are not to difficult to change. I hope this helps, please be aware I can only guess at what the problem is from my past experience.
