change your dealership ,infact i would say this is not a ford reconised dealer ship,it might advertise ford full stop.Any good dealer would reconise this problem as the switch and i have taught 16/17 year old who would have had your problem fixed and sorted in 10 mins.adrian,,,,,,,,,,,

That is for your charging system.
Measure the voltage at the battery with the engine running. It needs to be 14.2 volts.
You might need an alternator, or maybe just a bad belt

See what you have make and model. Do you have a gauge or just a battery light? Alternator could be bad. Could a simple wire fix. 20 cents compared to 300+ dollar alternator.
