Question about Cadillac Cars & Trucks
This is caused by low voltage in the circuit, this would of course affect all modules.

SOURCE: I have an 01 cadillac
when a car is running the alternator should put out around 14 volts. the clicking sound is probably a relay. I would check all the fuses relays and the alternator.

SOURCE: where is ecu fuse in
I see 2 fuses for the computer (powertrain comtrol module, PCM). They are located in the fuse panel under the hood of the vehicle in the engine compartment (see picture below). Also below is a diagram of the fuse layout by number. The fuses I am talking about is one in the number 8 position (says PCM battery) and the other is in the number 19 position (says PCM ignition). This should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you don't and would like a copy of it, you can email me at email@example.com with your make, model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy. No worries, no cost for it. I hope this helps and good luck.

This is generally a fault with your evaporative canister purge valve or wiring. This is the little guy that allows the engine to pull vapors from your fuel tank. If you need additional info let us know.. Best of Luck.

pop open the bonnet/ hood. Itll be somwhere at the backnear the rain grill just under the front windscreen/ windshield. Find the connecting arm that links the two wiper arms, trace that back and you will find the motor.
Hope this helps.

looks like you drop the trans pan and then the internal mode switch is on valve body, you may or may not have to pull valve body out to change it, wish I was more help to you.
