They are located inside the transmission.

normally on automatic transmissions, the filter is changed by draining the transmission fluid & removing the transmissions oil pan on bottom of transmission. from there the filter is accessible.

some transmissions the filter are a metal screen to keep filings from entering the system, others are filtered through material.
trans filters for yours are available.
some pans have magnets attached to catch filings.
you may want to purchase a repair manual on your vehicle,( I have one for every vehicle that I have ever owned, they are very helpful) this will tell you the exact procedure for yours.

CHECK TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL. SOUND LIKE TRANSMISSION SLIPPING. BEST THING TO DO IF NOT.TO CHANGE TRANSMISSION FLUID AND FILTER.IF TRANSMISSION FILTER STOPPED UP TRANSMISSION CAN PUMP ENOUGH THROUGH DIRTY FILTER TO OPERATE WHEN FLUID GETS HOT BECOMES THINNER THEN IT WILL FLOW THROUGH FILTER BEFORE TRANSMISSION WILL SHIFT RIGHT.

Sure but the filter is inside the transmission. ussally the pan on the bottom of the transmission needs to be removed and and filter is connected to the transmission inside this cover on the lowest point. If your not a regular mechanic ( work on cars for a living, day in and out) you should hire this work done by someone who does.

THE TRANSMISSION FILTER SHOULD BE INSIDE OF TRANSMISSION THE METAL LINE MAY BE LINES THAT COOL THE TRANSMISSION THERE SHOULD BE NO EXPOSED FILTERS UP BY BUMPER YOU HAVE YOUR AIR FILTER ON TOP OIL FILTER WHICH IS ROUND NO NEVER HEARD OF A FILTER UP BY FRONT BUMPER MAY JUST BE A PIECE OF PAPER STUCK ON YOUR RADIATOR

Transmission filter is located on the bottom of the valve body in the transmission. You have to drop the transmission oil pan to replace the transmission filter and transmission fluid.
