SOURCE: 1994 geo tracker fuel problem

The fuel pump has 2 sources of power, when you crank the engine power to the pump is supplied through the cranking circuit of the ignition switch, after it starts the power comes from the run circuit, you most likely have an issue with the ignition switch.

You may have an issue with the fuel pump crank circuit, check the ignition switch, I think that may be the problem

SOURCE: wont start

Have you checked the cyl compression yet? If the compression is too low, it will not fire even if you have air, gas and good spark and properly timed. Ford recommends a minimum of 101 psi, but the truck should run (quite roughly I might add) on 85 psi.

The truck won't start eventhough it has spark and gas ?

Are you sure the injectors are firing, when you're cranking? Try spraying starting fluid into the intake, while cranking, to see if the truck starts. If it does start, then no gas is being injected into the cylinders and it may be a computer problem..

Check the air gap on the crank shaft sensor, if it does not have a .50 gap it will not send signal to fire coil pack repy to this post if you need more help.
