SOURCE: 1995 vw jetta gl air conditioner fuse 2.0 l

You may not be full of refrigerant... There is a low pressure switch that prevents the AC from actuating the clutch, and the reason is: IF there is not enough refrigerant, you will not be able to move oil through the system and you will have major damage...so no engauge...

Get the system checked, most likely there is a leak somewhere..

SOURCE: Jetta VW - 1999 won't start. Push started. Battery good. What should we look at first?

Good chance you either need a new starter, or ignition switch. Also, check the battery terminals for any sulfur corrotion. If there is, clean off with water and baking soda mix to neutralize the acid. stiff wire brush the terminals if possible, but if you do not have a memory saver plugged into the aux voltage input(cigarette lighter), you will loose Radio, TCM, and ECM programming when batterey is disconnected.

My 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited has a new battery but won't start. When I try to jump start it, it just makes a clicking sound but won't start.

Most likely you have a bad connection somewhere. Trace the battery cables and clean/tighten all terminals or try jumping to a different lug. You might also try removing the starter and jumping directly to the starter to verify that it is good.
