Cannot change temperature on heat & air

Temp is controlled by an electric motor(or could be vacuum hose) on the blender door of heater housing. If you find this is operating correctly, then the problem is a plugged heater core.Backflush it by removing both heater hoses and flushing from water pump side toward thermostat side.don-ohio

Have no a/c or heater just blows ambient air

Probably a vacuum motor on the blender door has gone bad or the vacuum line broken or fell off.Find the blender door motor and with engine running, wheels blocked and emergency brake on in park, check the motor's operation. don-ohio

When air cont is on it blows heat

It might be the vacuum motor on the blender door letting air pass thru the heater core instead of sending it thru the evaporator.
A simple vacuum line falling off or breaking at the heater can cause this,OR a bad vacuum motor.

Blender door not working correctly on 2003 grand Marquis. Bows out defrost but not vents. Occasionly out the vents but not often

not blend door, blend door is responsible for mixing hot air from heater core side with cold air from evaporator side of the system. you have a problem with your panel doors it may be an electrical problem with signals from you heater control module or a vacuum problem or you may have damaged components inside your dash. your vehicle will default to defrost setting automatically if there is a problem in the system

Heat does not work well.

your thermostat would be the first culprit to check, but if your engine is not overheating (or the temp is showing ok on the guage) then I would move to either the Heater core is bad (Unlikely if you dont have any strange smells or coolant leaking,) I would check the blender door (Move the selection switch (the one that decides for top, bottom, defrost, etc..) if you dont here a Suction, air noise, your blender door may be stuck/ bad or the vacuum line is disconnected/leaking

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee bad blender doors. Can I remove the blender doors completely as opposed to replacing them? If I just rip out the broken ones and leave them out what will happen?

I tried that but not my heating core is not getting hot just warm. i think they computer is turning it off because it still thinks the doors an closed. This is what im trying to figure out. I felt the heating hosing under the hood and they both feel hot going in and out of the heater. I am getting luke warm air which is better than the freezing air though

What is a blender/ it is suposed to a part of the heater area

The "blender" would refer to the blend actuators that change the flow of air from floor to vent to defrost or combinations. Properly working blend doors will allow you to direct air to the dash vents, the floor, the defroster, the floor and defroster or the floor and dash vents. If it is not working the heater will still work but you will hae no control oer where the air flows.

Is this a real winning or is it a scam?

Beware! Its a scam. Do NOT give out any personal information. If you do, they (the senders) will probably ask you to deposit a small fee so they can send you the prize money. After receiving your cash they will move away!
Just send this email to your spam folder.
Just for your information, I also received one of these.
Thank you.
