Maruti Suzuki India launched a new version of the first generation Alto in the Indian auto market in August 2010, the Alto K10.[30] The new Maruti Alto K10 is equipped with the company's 1.0L, K-series petrol engine which also currently powers the Celerio and Wagon R. The K10B engine delivers 68 PS (50 kW) of maximum power at 6,200rpm with 90 N·m (66 lb·ft; 9 kg·m) of maximum torque at 3200 rpm. The K10 has a redesigned front end, with more sculpted headlights. This spelled the end for the F10-engined model, while the F8-engined Alto was replaced by the all new Alto 800 in late 2012. The Alto K10 remained in production until 2014.

How do i replace the front wheel bearings

we dont have Altos here. in USA, but the FSM covers this.
why not buy the FSM and read it.
or go online to Suzuki parts, and see those nice graphics there.
see em.
then see what is there.
on many cars like this the bearing is unitized, in to the hub.
1: off the wheel/tire.
2: caliper, unbolted and raised.
3; hub nut off
4: slam hammer the hub from spindle.
there. its off.
but the FSM shows how to in full details. why not read that.

what country was car sold .?
Altos very greatly by country.
eg"?
The Maruti Alto is the Indian-built version of the fifth generation Alto, manufactured by Maruti Suzuki.

4L60E transmission skips 2nd gear

Bad news, my friend. The transmission is toast. I have fixed MANY of these, and what has happened is that the sun gear reaction shell has cracked around the input gear collar. This will not be fixed by putting any additive in, or resetting the computer. This is a VERY common 4L60E failure, and you have, I am guessing, about 120,00-150,000 miles on this vehicle. This is when they die; earlier if used extensively for towing.
When you get this fixed, tell the builder you want the Beast sun shell and Alto Red Eagle (specify Alto Red Eagle; they're the best) 3-4 clutch power pack with Kolene full thickness steels, and Alto Red Eagle reverse/low clutch frictions and Kolene steels, as a MINIMUM over a stock rebuild. Tell him you want a new reverse drum and a Kevlar or Carbon Fiber power band, as well as Sonnax "Super Hold" 1-2 and 3-4 servos. Add a 15,000lb capacity auxilliary fluid cooler in addition to the one built into your radiator.
Then your transmission will be bulletproof, and you will think you have added 100 horsepower.
But this one is guaranteed dead.
