Question about 2005 Dodge Sprinter 3500 Standard Roof

2 Answers

I have recently dicovered that my 2005 3500(1 ton) 158 SHC that I purchased new in 07/05, has been equipped with the 2500 (3/4 ton) brakes. They have made noise from day one. The rear brakes wore out before the front. The one ton rotors called out for this van do not fit it. The calipers are now leaking and appear to have been cooked. This has to be wrong! can I upgrade to the brake system it should have been equipped with as new? In fact this had to have happened in South Carolina. Thank You, Kevin Nunamaker / Allphase Garage Door inc.

Due to high speed of sprinters, its common problem worn out brake discs and pads, its not the wrong brake fitting, try to get better quality discs and pads, dont go for cheap products, remember your van capable of doing over 100 mph, how you gona stop it ?

I gotta 2005 dodge ram 2500 4x4 3/4 ton i uplugged he front abs sensor from wheel hub assembly and now abs light is on what do i do to clear the light

you cannot clear light while sensor is unplugged. the light is on because the computer is not seeing a reading for the wheel speed. when the light comes on your brakes will operate normally but you will not have any anti lock brakes so take care not to lock up your brakes during hard braking.

2005 Chev 2500 HD -- Rear passenger brake light is out. I replaced once with new light and it went out again. All other lights are working. Anyone else have this problem?

Was the replacement bulb purchased an orignal equipment manufacturer from a Chevy dealer or a parts store.
Some aftermarket bulbs do not meet OEM standards and can cause this type of problem. A good parts store will carry OEM replacement bulbs.
If it is the correct OEM bulb, we can go from there.
Let me know.
