I have a 1991 H. civic sadan fuel pump works, but doesnt engage when trying to start. What is an fuel pump relay and where the heck is it located on this vehicle. Please help!!!

The relay is located in the same spot on all models from 1988-1992 sold in the States. On the left side of the dash is a change, etc. fold out compartment. I have found it is easier to reach the relay if that is removed (couple of small screws, bolts). The relay is basically tucked up under the left side of the bottom of the dash. It is a rectangular shaped block and connector about 2" x 1" and is attached to bracket on the underside of the dash structure

Where is the fuel pump relay on my '94 Volvo 850?

Hi, The fuel pump relay for your Volvo is located in the engine compartment. The fuse and relay box on the drivers side by the windshield. The fuel pump relay is in the back ron of relays and the 3rd one in from the left. If you look inside the cover for the fuse box there is most likely a listing of the fuses and relays. Good Luck

Fuel pump relay for V70 is behind the upper fuse box panel inside the engine compartment. Remove 4 Torx screws in fuse box housing, remove the panel, and voila, relays. Fuel pump relay is red and numbered 103

Fuel pump

Have you checked the fuel pump relay and fuse? That lives in the relay/fuse panel under the radio, behind the ash tray. I always carry a spare relay and fuse. The pump might have taken out both of these, The fuel pump relay is located in the third row, toward the firewall, next to the last relay on the right. The first in that row is a big relay for the headlights. The fulk pump relay is located between that and the one on the right. There are only three relays in the last row.
