Question about Cars & Trucks
If you are here in CALIFORNIA you call the PUBLIC UTILITIES Commission (CPUC)... and ask their EXPERT (and tax supported) HELP because they are THE permissions FOLKS... WHO "CONTROL" all your various companies who operate in our state... HOLD down prices and assure quality service and customer cooperation...
(sure: Just like J. Edgar didn't wear dresses)
Almost every State has such a august DEPARTMENT...
Most of these high fliers are PRIMARILY FUNDED on TAXPAYER money to protect you from just such abuse...
They have HUGE STAFFs, VERY LARGE BUILDINGS... BIGGER BUDGETS... STILL LARGER EGOs and BUDGETS...
Keep their well upholstered offices well staffed and comfortably appointed...
If they are not tooo busy raking it all in... perhaps you could get them to do their job. Look out for you.
That is what they are there to DO (doncha know).
I call the DMV and get 4 DIFFERENT reasons why
my 5 submissions have gone NO-WHERE... (during the last 6 months) on a currently REGISTERED vehicle we have owned since it was NEW (1973)... never CHANGED ADDRESSES OR LICENSE NUMBERS... all fees paid (some twice)... No wants, warrants (or even warnings)...But at least we get answers...
Try find an ADVOCATE at the CPUC... If you can... they fix your issue... really!
It's their primary function!
Seriously... Call the phone company and THREATEN MIDDLE MANGEMENT with the above notion...
All the little people and TOP BRASS pretty much know it for the joke it is... but the THREAT can cause a lot of paper-work...
so there is LEVERAGE to be had (I'm just saying).
Try it... What have you got to lose??

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
