Question about Cars & Trucks
Found this info in my database. It appears you have to remove radio to get at it. If the database is wrong, don't blame me, ok.
I looked at two different wiring diagrams, both, did not show fuel pump relay terminal numbers, sometimes it means the relay is soldered in, you can't just pull it out. If it is soldered, wire in an external relay, should work fine. Certainly see if will pull out. Be certain the relay is the problem!!

It is under the hood in the fuse and relay power distribution center. You can download the owner's manual to look it up for free at the link below.

SOURCE: 2003 GMC Yukon - fuel pump
Check your ECM fuse. There should be 2 fuses for your ECM. It's the ECM that controls the function of the fuel pump. Good luck friend and it's also common for the wire harness from the frame to the fuel pump to go bad due to corrosion from the bad weather we get in the winter and rainy spring and fall.

You can release the fuel pressure at the fuel service port on top of the engine. Be sure the engine is cold and you hold a good rag under it. No need to remove relay if key is off.

The fuel pump relay would be located in the underhood fuse box, check the fuse box inside cover diagram for exact location.

SOURCE: I am working on a 2003 Saturn Vue. The fuel pump relay trips after the car has been running for awhile. i replaced both fuel pumps, fuel filter, and the fuel pump relay. The problem remains. Any sugge
How is it "tripping" ?
The pump gets a signal from the ECM as long as the ECM knows the engine is running.
Is the check engine light on ?

In your power distribution box in your engine compartment (Ford recommends
disconnecting your battery before servicing fuses / relays in PD BOX )
fuse # 9 - 20 amp mini-fuse for fuel pump relay and RAP module
relay # 5 - is the fuel pump relay in your PD BOX
also , the fuel pump inertia (shut off) switch is in the right front passengers
footwell by the right front kick panel.
