SOURCE: where is the hvac fan

It is in the main hvac housing duct, close to the blower. It has two small screws holding it in the duct, and a 4 or 5 wire plug connected to it. Depending on the style hvac unit, the blower either pulls or blows air across it. It can look like a circuit board, or has several rows of wire coils. It gets really hot and must be forced air cooled any time the blower is on.

I cant find the blower motor resistor in my saturn lw2 2000

The blower motor resistor is located in the passenger front footwell. It is in the HVAC case very close the bulkhead. It has an elongated oval connector with 4 or 5 wires going to it. The resistor itself resembles a circuit board, not the typical blower resistor.

Where is the blower motor and resistor located on a2006 trailblazer

{: ) The front blower motor is located beneath the right side of the Instrument Panel (dashboard), just behind the glovebox. The resistor is just on the near left, mounted on the HVAC casing. Just trace the wire from the blower motor and the other end will lead you to the resistor block.

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram diesel. Can you tell me where the resistor for the blower motor is located ?

It's right next to the blower, above the passenger's feet. See pic below.

jturcotte_37.jpg
  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Reach under the instrument panel near the blower motor and disconnect the wire harness connector from the blower motor resistor.
  3. Remove the two screws that secure the blower motor resistor to the HVAC housing.
  4. Remove the blower motor resistor from the HVAC housing.

Liberty HVAC blower motor only works on hi speed. No low or middle speed. Is there a relay or thermal resistor for this and where is it located?

The HVAC Blower Motor Resistor needs to be replaced. It is located in behind the glove box. You have to remove the glove box which is easily done by releasing two clips located on each side of the compartment door. Then slide the cover to the right and the cover will come right off. I just had my replaced today and it only took the garage 10 minutes to install the new one.
