SOURCE: Heater core 1990 Ford F-150
I believe this is the easiest heater core ever invented. If it is like the 1986 model. I believe it is. You take out the glove box door. The heater core is right there under a cover in the duct work.

disconeck heater hoses under the hood on right side of motor and then inside car under dash remove the heater box on right and the core is inside,4-5 hour job.

luckily most ford trucks are rather straigh forward. remove lines in the motor bay. remove glove box. you will see a cover with a lot of small bolts.remove and gently pry off. this should expose the core.it in turn pulls out.reverse dirictions for install
