if the air bag stays on that means you have a problem with the air bag system, and you need to have it diagnose, but if you just bought the sedona from a used car dealer they have to fix it, it is part of the safety inspection requred by law

There has been known issues with the alternator on several year/versions of this car. If memory serves me right, there was a TSB for the alternator either over or undercharging. The TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) specifies replacing the alternator and re-flashing the PCM.(Powertrain Control Mudule).
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
Thank you for using FixYa.

1. Are your alternator belt lose???
2. Sound like your alternator is not putting enough amp out at idle. Have someone check your alternator out.

you can remove your instrument cluster and remove the bulb or have the problem solved by hooking it into a diagnostic scanner; this scan may run around 50 - 75 dollars depending upon who scans it; dealerships run higher... this cost does not include repair of the problem

When the airbag light (SRS) is on or blinks it means a fault has occurred in the system and the airbag diagnostic monitor has disabled the system, the most common problem that turns the light on is a break in the connection to the steering wheel mounted airbag, this is due to a rotating ribbon contact that breaks under the steering wheel that connects the airbag to the wiring harness and the diagnostic monitor, the part is called the clock spring contact, a coiled up ribbon electrical contact that turns with the steering wheel while maintaining a mechanical connection to the airgag mounted on the steering wheel, to replace this part you must disarm the airbag system and remove the steering wheel, this requires a special steering wheel puller tool and that you disarm the airbag system before you start the work, to do this disconnect the battery negative cable for 1/2 hour prior.
