I have a 1991 dynasty It runs great but smokes.

Since your car is 23 years old it could be several things, one being the drain holes in the head could be stopped up and allowing oil to pool up in the top end under valve cover. When that happens the oil can be sucked down around the valve stems and cause smoking. If you haven't changed oil regularly the oil could be diluted and very thin causing seepage around the rings and valve stems. Also, it could be that your engine is just plain worn out.

Security light won't go off, but the car runs fine what is wrong

The security system (VATS/PassKey) is having problems, it usually gets worse pretty quickly and you run the risk to get stuck anytime like it happened to me. You can find a great write-up here: , it was the only thing that saved my Park Avenue.

Emissions warning light came on. Car runs great

It may be the computer itself. If the light keeps returning, either the computer is faulty or the fans are really failing. I do not recommend dealers but actual mechanic shops.

Chevy 350 express van 2000 runs great idles rough

If it does not do it in park or neutral, it could be a number of things. One being a sticking Torque Converter Clutch solenoid (TCC). It could be that it needs a simple tune-up. How often does this problem happen?

1998 firebird 3.8 v6 92000 miles runs great until 3000 rpm then it runs rough and starts to miss

Same thing happened to my 94 firebird. Did your car run hot at any point? Mine overheated and ended up melting a couple of plug wires.
I replaced the wires (and plugs). That took care of the problem.
