Hi, my fuel tank cap on Corsa 2013 wont open. Never happened before.

Add some water remover/fuel line antifreeze for Diesel engines to the fuel tank. Heet or Heat makes some here in the US in a red bottle for a couple dollars. Check or change your fuel cap. The water separator previously mentioned is a good idea if this keeps happening.

It is possible. Next time it happens fill the tank completely, take note of the amount of fuel pumped. Look in your owners manual for tank capacity. If you lost manual they are available on line free.

Hi This is a very open question there are many reasons this could happen.
Starting with the basics ; Is this an issue that has got progressively worse over a period of time? Has the vehicle been serviced? Look at spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter. When removing coil pack (be careful to remove it evenly across its length as you could damage it). Is there any oil in plug holes if so replace rocker cover gasket. Check fuel quality any contamination.
Has this issue just occurred? if so what has happened leading up to this issue. Have you had any work done to your car? have you filled the fuel tank or run the tank very low. Definitely check fuel quality. Have you driven over anything had a noise come from under car (possible dent in fuel pipe restricting fuel flow). Loss of fuel pressure/ blocked fuel filter, faulty fuel pump.
If all the above checks out ok book into dealer as special tools will be required for diagnosis. Good luck

So this morning I stop to fill up with fuel and I can't put the nozzle in the tank! ... station where their fuel nozzle didn't "fit" the capless thing so the door didn't open. ... Sounds like water/debris in the gas tank. Try adding dry gas to the tank. Changing the fuel filter also a good idea.

why is the gauge saying no fuel or will it not go in. has it been juddering befor this happened was the filler cap hard to open. if any of the above let me know. if its not the gauge and the other things happened. my guess is the filler cap was not letting enough air into the tank. causing a vacume this crumples the tank and no fuel can go in the tank. it might not be as bad as all that. but this does happen. if you cannot get the filler cap off. need more info please.

Trace the fuel line. It will either go to the pump at the block or straight to the pump in the tank. Good luck

take a screwdriver beside lock drive it into the cap and twist it off
