How grease to grease ball joints on a 1998 dodge Dakota sport

You need a grease gun and a tube of grease for your particular vehicle make. You can purchase both at any auto parts store. If you haven't replaced the ball joints since the vehicle was made then you probably wont be able to grease them. Most vehicles come off the line without access. However aftermarket parts have points where you can grease. Take your grease gun and stick the end over the nipple,(sorry can't think of the name for the **** things that you grease into, so Im calling them nipples.) Anyway, pump the gun until grease comes out from the joint and that should do it. Really pretty simple operation provided you have the nipples at the joints already. Hope this helps.

Does hyundai lantra year 2000 have grease nipples

No I havent seen grease nipples on many newer cars lately. I think the manufacturers have done away with them. Dont try using your grease gun on the brake bleeder valves at any of the wheels. I had one car that the owner tried that on; It was a nightmare.

I heard a grinding sound at the backside of my car maybe from the transmission i see a little oil leak at the end of the diffrerential. this is an old car mitsubishi galant 79 model. do i have to replace...

if its front wheel drive and a manual then pump grease into the gearbox ,about one grease gun full of LM grease and then top up with EP90 hypoid gear oil and the grease settles when it gets hot and runs to the extremities and seals the leak and it should last another year or two but the gearbox will remain noisy but as long as it works who cares

Excessive wheel vibration between 60 and 80 mph and clicking sound when going quite slow, say below 20 mph

you need to lube the bearings from the steering rack if you have a grease gun just raise the car ister the gun thru the grease port there the ones located near the wheel when you turn the wheel all to one side ids the black rubbers that connect the wheel arms just pump it till the grase ither comes out or bullges the rubbers out

Front end sqweeks when iturn sterring wheel

needs to be greased. get a grease gun and crawl underneath and add grease to all grease zerks. your sway bar bushings could be dry too. spray them with some silicone lubricant. there is a bar that runs the width of the vehicle underneath usually between radiator and engine. This is your sway bar. There will be two metal horseshoe shaped brackets with rubber surrounding the bar. The rubber is your sway bar bushings.

Is there a specific type of grease gun ad grease I

There is really no special grease gun to get. Any type of grease gun will work. I personally use a high temp. grease at the shop I work at. When greasing anything never over grease a joint , it causes a mess and will cause premature failure. All that is needed is three pumps of the grease gun.
