I just changed my forester 2001 transmission, and the AT light just keep flashing. What could be the problem, and how do I resolve it

Well first you need the TCM codes read, if the light is flashing there is a fault code stored in memory..

Why does my 2001 subaru forester overdrive light keep blinking

A flashing light means the transmission has a problem that prevents the overdrive from working.
You would need to have a shop check it out.

Whatswill a 2001 legacy subaru tranaxel fit a 1999 subaru forester atf

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking...however, if you want to put axles from a 2001 Legacy on to a 1999 forester, they'd both need to have the same motor (probably a 2.5L) and the same trans-axle/transmission. The forester MIGHT have a 2.2L motor which would cause me to think NOT. Of course if one car has an automatic and the other a manual transmission, then I would not recommend using one on the other. Hard to tell without being able to see them both. Sorry I couldn't be more definitive in my answer.

Unknown warning light

Check you fluid levels on the car. Oil and transmission can turn this light on. Check the oil while car is off and transmission while the car is on.

Transmission hesitates when put into drive 2000 subaru Forester

You did not mention model or miles. Off hand sounds like fluid. Check level and condition of fluid. If many miles maybe needing to change filter and drain and replace fluid. Hope this helps, good luck and have a good day.

i have a 2001 Forester and the clutch has been changed twice. look at the consumer report for 2001 forester and the manual transmission gets a "black spot" in the ratings - couldn't be lower. i feel your pain.
