Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: renault megan card not detected :(

Hi ,This is a common renault problem,If you have a spare card you need to try this first other wise its a trip to renault and lots of money to replace your cards and reprogram the system, sorry there are no other options when the card fails or the card reader fails only Renault have the security software to re-program the system.

SOURCE: Renault Clio Sport 182 Air Con and fan blower fault

I also have a 53 clio with climate control and the fan stopped working. After being quoted £104 by dealership I decided to have a go myself. Bonnet up, remove driverside scuttle cover. Unplug fan resistor 7701051272 (large plug with black wire to fan)remove securing screws and resistor. Dismantled casing and peeled away gel from soldered side of circuit board around mosfet transistor-desolder and remove. Mine was a N342AD 75344G but the nearest I could get was HUF75337P3 from Maplin £1.68. This was the wrong 'package size' but I managed.Close the clamp slightly (before)to hold transistor firmly and then insert transistor and solder. Reassemble. After I got an email from a scrappy QUOTING £20 if you don't fancy the messing about.

SOURCE: how do i change the front indicator bulb

you have to go in through the cover in the wheel arch. when you grab the back of the bulb holder only turn 1/4 turn then pull out. also b4 you put it back in clean the two metal contacts on the outside of the bulb holder. ps you have to twist your arm to get at it they can be a pain.

Where is the starter fuse in my megan

Don't think there is one, you don't say automatic or annual. Auto it's possible inhibitor switch out of adjustment or open circuit you could also try holding the key in the start position and move the auto lever through all to N but..Caution make sure you are applying the foot brake very firmly as it may start in gear. Manual, possibly the clutch switch is out of adjustment or open circuit. Allan

My renault megan scenic 06 plate heater has stopped working completely any ideas how to put right

These cars have the complete blower motor and most of the system under the dashboard and middle console, I suggest you take it to a dealer or a garage that have experience, but before doing so check the pollen filter and the fuse.

REMOVING THE SPARE WHEEL ON A RENAULT MEGAN

The spare wheel is located under the rear boot carpet.BUT some meganes do not come with a spare as its an optional extra when the car is purchased. If there is no spare, then a can of foam and a small compressor to repair and inflate the punctured tyre, should be fitted.

Renault megan scenic 1.6 auto 1998 .start up drive ,does not change gear ,stop when warm restart drives ok ?

This sounds like you have a pressure fault, these gearboxes suffer from pressure solonoid failure, take the car to your dealer and have it scanned, this will show the fault, it is not an expensive job, but if left it can turn into one.
