SOURCE: I parked my car last night and it was fine. I went

I'm not very notable on the foreign manufacturers but are there any lights on the dash lit up such as the security light you may also need to check the distributer. check your spark plugs and make sure that all of them are fine though i doubt that the are the problems.

not sure if this helps but i hope it does. it does sound like a electrical problem so as your local technician from autozone or nappa auto parts store for the trouble shooting proceedure

SOURCE: I have a 2001 Mazda

It sounds like you may have a bad starter or maybe even a bad ignition switch. Then again there is always the possibility that you may just have a bad connection some where. I hope this helps you out.

How many volts does your battery currently have? A cheap multimeter can tell you; I'm not saying the crew at Advance Auto aren't on top of their game, but they do work at Advance Auto... Anything less than 12v DC indicates a problem, and the battery probably won't have enough juice to turn your motor over with less than 10-11v. If your battery voltage is >12v it sounds like you've got a bad starter solenoid (some vehicles integrate these with the starter itself, some do not). Try giving it a few whacks with a rubber mallet or a hammer handle (aka the wooden part).

SOURCE: Well, I came home last night my car was fine, went

first check the battery if there is no problem then check the air intake hose it might be blocked
start from the holes located at the top of the hood under the front windo and see if it's clear or not
if this does not work open the air filter and clean it with high pressure air

1988 lxi honda accord battery drains overnight

Just a couple problems I've had. dome light left on due to faulty door open switch, spot light charger or equipment left plugged or wired to battery, lately I thought I had a bad battery but I just need to clean the terminal connections. One more thing if your car is running you can pull the negative cable off the battery. If the car dies your alternator could be the problem. If you have a light in the trunk or under the hood you could pull the bulb out to make sure you don't have a faulty switch turning them on. These are kind of simple and that is the way I start out.

My first thought would be: If you repaired an emissions hose, take the car back to Auto Zone (or another parts supplier) and let them tell you what code comes up now. You eliminated one problem, now you have to find another.
I wouldn't do a fuel pump without more information.

Hi
Pop into to your local garage and have a diagnostic test carried out.
Listen to the advise given. It may save you lots of money, especially if you start the "guessing" game.
It does sound like a part may be blocked or failed though, but the sytem needs to be tested thoroughly first.
Good luck

Over night, the 2006 Equinox won't start. Just clicks. There was not lights left on or anything. It also will start with jumper cables

hi, sounds like your car's battery is drawing down overnight( draining). First you need to check the battery's state of charge and its capacity to handle a load. (Get battery tested) If your battery checks out ok, you are dealing with whats called a parasitic draw.(This is a draw on the battery that is caused by an electronic device somewhere in the car, ie: computer and or module(s). To find the source of the draw use a low amp probe(with inductive lead) at postive battery cables and isolate each circuit till draw stops. You may possible be dealing with a intermitent parasitic draw if the battery does not go dead every night. IF that is the case you have to check every night after the normal timeout period ends(vehicle goes to sleep) usually 30mins or so, to catch the draw in the act.IF you do not wish to deal with this problem right away, you can by a quick disconnect terminal kit at your local auto parts store and attach to neg. terminal of the battery, in which you would only be required to disconnect terminal when you park for the night leaving the vehicle in a induced state of sleep.(No draw).

2001 Pontiac Bonneville won't start

have you not left any load on overnight?..like park light or left the door partially open and the dome light would be left on?

have the battery recharge and the next night, make sure that no light would be left on the car.

if it would drain out again, have it recharged again, use it and on the night, make sure no light is left on the car, then remove the positive pole on the battery overnight.

the next morning, put the positive cable back and start the car.

if the car would start, then no problem with the battery, if the car would not start, then return the battery because it is defective.

tnx 4 using fixya,
