Why is t drain pan filling up constantly

Don't understand the question as to what the drain pan is?
If you are talking about the oil pan the only thing that can increase its volume is water from the cooling system. In that case you have to continually add coolant to keep the level up. If that is what is going on the oil will have a pale brown color as water is mixed with the oil. This would result from a blown head gasket.

sounds like the transfer case needs rebuilding or replaced check to see if the oil in the case is dark or colored or milkey looking this is a indication the transfer case need to be redone

My Volvo s60 2002 model emits a lot of whitish smoke from exhaust, yet the engine runs quite well at normal temperature. It is turbocharged by the way. Whenever i replace battery, say when battery is...

White smoke is usually steam. Check your oil? Milkey color? Yes = blown head gasket or other waaer/oil mix trouble. Dont wait to see what happens.

Thanks for your question.

Should there be anything but oil on the diptick when it is checked

No ... do you see milkey anything? Oil in the water is text bood blown head gasket. Anything readish ... probably transmission fluid. Radiator should be a nice green or orange color. If anything a-miss, see your mechanic as soon as you can to prevent further damage.

Were is the filter on a transmision for a zuzuki estem 2002

It should be in the tranny pan like most filters. is it automatic?? if it is standard it wont have one to my knowledge. you need to drain the pan and drop it to change the filter in a automatic and also change the gasket while doing so. You will see a pan underneath your car.. One is oil with a oil drain plug the other should be a pan with no drain plug.. you have to unbolt the tranny pan bolts slowly and carefully and make sure it is up to normal running temp. Also make sure your gasket surfaces are clean and such and there are no huge chunks of anything in your pan.... There will be a magnet in there just so you know... keep that in there it catches smaller debris.. small tiny debris is ok..

What make engine to have excess oil

Water. when an intake or head gasket blows it can drain coolant into the crank case. You need to check this out. and don't drive the car. Coolant in the crankcase will destroy an engine. you can remove the oil drain plug and see what comes out. coolant will drain first. Unless the coolant and oil have already mixed, then it will come out a milky tan to brown color

Check the Seal around the Oil Pan Drain Plug. If this Seal is Missing or Warped it will slowly leak oil.
