2009 chevy silverado heater control valve

There is no heater control valve. The temp of the water is always the same and the air is now blended. The blend door is in the plenum and you should be able to see the levers for the blend and mode selector by looking under the dash. The blend door can stick or the attached parts can break.

REPLACING ac heater programmer in my 1999 cadillac deville

Why ?
Programmer Description
The heater and A/C programmer is attached to a bracket. The bracket is located next to the right end of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) module assembly, behind the glove box. The heater and A/C programmer provides the controls for temperature regulation.
The heater and A/C programmer controls an electric actuator. The electric actuator adjusts the air mix valve position in order to blend cold and warm air. Vehicles with dual zone (CJ2) have 2 electric actuators that mix the air independently of each other. The motor is reversible and moves a rotary shaft which drives the air mix valve link. The motor also provides a position sensor signal in order to monitor the actual valve position.
The heater and A/C programmer operates the 4 vacuum solenoids. The solenoids control vacuum to the various vacuum actuators. The vacuum actuators control the following components:
• The air inlet valve
• The A/C DEFROST valve
• The UP/DOWN valve
The heater and A/C programmer also controls the park brake release actuator. The powertrain control module (PCM) sends a Class 2 serial data message to the heater and A/C programmer whenever the transmission is shifted out of PARK or NEUTRAL. The heater and A/C programmer will then supply vacuum to the park brake release solenoid, which releases the park brake.
The heater and A/C programmer sometimes is referred to as the air control module (ACM). This reference is commonly used by a scan tool and by the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

My 2009 honda civic lx coupe heater is blowing cold air. The thermostat is checked and fine. The anti-freeze level is where it should be. The cabin filter has been changed. What could it be?

In most cars, the water going through the heater is controled by a valve near the firewall. This valve is sometimes controlled mechanically by a cable or in many newer cars by an electrically actuated valve. You will have to refer to a specific manual for location and type. Sorry, but I do not currently have access to one of these vehicles to be more specific.

2005 Lincoln LS. It blows extremely hot air all the time, and is unresponsive to temperature inputs from either side of the car. It always blows hot air.

There is a very good chance the Dual Coolant Control Valve has failed. This is located at the botton right side of the engine fan shroud and has 3 heater hoses connected to it. This valve controls heater or AC temperature inside the car.

2009 Hyundai Sonata Navagation

I do not know enough about the Hyundai's or the navigation systems to offer an answer. For those types of questions, you would either need to call and ask a dealer or go to , purchase a subscription for your vehicle, and navigate to the computer/electronics area. This is mainly where the dealers and auto repair facilities get their information as well. The cost is $26.95 for the first vehicle and 16.95 for each additional vehicle and the subscription is good for one year. The information is EXTREMELY detailed on everything from bulletins to recalls to diagrams to locations to repairs, etc. You can even check out a sample vehicle before you buy, so see for yourself. Sorry I can't help you further. Good Luck with it.
