You will need to have another code scan done. A faulty glow plug will
certainly show up on a scan, but should NOT bring on the engine MIL
light. Erase all faults showing at present. This should extinguish the
engine light. Thin start and stop engine a number of times until the
light comes back on. This will re boot on-board computer. Do another
scan and the fault should show up. If possible do a live reading,
paying close attention to the (oxygen sensors) lambda units

most autoparts stores will run the check engine light for you for free....I am assuming that you either have a clogged catalytic converter, or your o2 sensor is throwing a fault....have autozone check it out and post back.
