How to remove a L/Front fender on a 1996 Mazda 626

Fenders are bolt on. Remove the plastic inner wheel well. Rais the hood. Remove bolts along too, in door jamb and inner wheel well. Most vehicles also require removing the front bumper cover, headlight assembly and sometimes the grill. You should be able to see the bolt hole locations on the replacement fender. Once you install it do not tighten up the bolts. You'll need to align the fender til the hood to get a narrow consistent seam then tighten the bolts.

Bonnett release lever will not open bonnet series 3 bmw

The cable is routed from the lever to the drivers side fender where there is a box mechanism. There, 2 cables are pulled by the release cable and each runs to a latch on the corners. It sounds like you only released one of the latches. Trace back to the box where the cable splits.

Bonnet release cable has snapped how do i get into the engine bay to fit a new one?

it depends where the cable snapped. it it snapped near the opener just get a vice grip plier grip the cable and pull. the cable passes inside the left fender, just remove the fender liner and you can access it from there. if it snapped near the catch you need to remove the bumper and or grille

Replacing the Right Front Fender on a 1999 Mazda 626

Can you remove the wheel well splash shield and get access to the bolts? Body shop techs have a special tool to get into this area.

Here's a 97 Probe whcih was the same as a 626 in 1997:

Fender, Front Removal
  1. On GT models, remove the side sill extension. Refer to Section 01-08 for the removal and installation procedure.
  1. Remove the front fender bolt located in the door jamb opening.
