Where is the Vapor Canister Vent Solenoid located on a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500, 4.3L engine? And do you ave to remove the pick-up bed to access it, if it is on top of the tank?

No you don't have to remove the pick up bed to get at it. It's on the left frame rail along side of fuel tank !
Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister vent electrical connector, if equipped. Disengage the 2 vent valve pipe clips securing the pipe to the underbody.
Remove the clips from the underbody and discard.
Disconnect the vent valve pipe at the EVAP canister. Remove and retain the EVAP canister vent valve bracket mounting bolt. Remove the complete EVAP canister vent valve assembly with bracket attached and discard.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2001 mazda tribute blowing holes in egr valve. When driving it starts out good then you gas on it it runs ruff then valve blows out it runs fine till I get home then dies.

This does not sound right at all. I have never heard of an EGR valve blowing holes! Buy a replacement like Ray says. If this happens again plan on replacing your exhaust system, all parts, because if it is clogged this is how car fires occur. Don't take the chance.

How do I clean iac sensor on 2001 linclon

Idle air control not really a sensor, but anyway, use tools such as small screwdrivers, knife, etc to scrape major deposits from unit passageways using care to avoid harming valve or seat area. Spray with carb cleaner and let sit to help loosen deposits. Blow out with compressed air. Clean passages in throttle body also and use shop vac to remove debris. If deposits are too bed might just replace unit.

Heater not blowing hot air

When the fan motor is loud it means its out of balance. Kind of like a dishwasher.

Could a business card or two have slipped through the defrost vents ? or maybe leaves have accumulated in the fans squirrel cage.

A heater motor isn't hard to remove. Usually above your feet on the passenger side held in with 3 or 4 screws and one heavy wire.

2005 toyota corolla blowing smoke

Blowing black smoke means fuel mixture is too rich, possible choke is stuck partically closed.
Blowing white smoke especially driving off the traffic lights indicates either worn valve guides or worn piston rings. Valve guides require the head to be removed to replace valve guides.
Replacing piston rings means a major engine repair. It maybe better to get a reconditioned motor than replace worn piston rings because other worn engine parts should be replaced at the same time.

I don't see any need to go into a long story here

You have at least two problems that may not be
all that big a deal

I would flat bed it to a dealer or local repair shop

2005 chevy 1500 silverado eng. light on ran code p0455 and p0449 how to fix the problem. and how much work it takes. thanks STEVE.

P0449 is the evap vent valve solenoid circuit malfuntion.
P0455 is an evap gross leak
Perhaps the gross leak code has to do with the vent valve. Find the vent valve. It should be near a rectangle evap canister. Maybe under the bed. The small vent line from the fuel tank will go to it. The solenoid is near the cansiter. With the key off the valve will be open. With the key on it should be closed. You may try disconnection the hose and blow through it with both key off and on and see if air will pass through. If the valve has died and is stuck open, that can be the huge leak.

If it is not the leak then a smoke machine should be used. Easier than searching the lines for bad o-rings, splits, or whatevers.

Is there a test procedure for the purge and vent valves which does not require the scan tool? Could a 9volt battery be used to check if the valves close off properly? A large leak is detected in the evap....

Why would you remove the bed?

A Scan Tool & an EVAP Smoke Machine & your done
& repaired in 30 min

How would you check electrical without a wiring

Remove any valves you want & put Batt 12v to them
& blow threw them

Need a schematic of Evap as well, unless you got it
all figured out.

Definately going about it the hard way.

Are the valves adjustable on the 1990 3.0L? I

1) The valves are adjustable, but they are of the shim-type adjustment. You will need to obtain the proper shims from a dealership parts department.

2) Any Toyota dealer can, by you giving them your VIN, tell you whatever was done to the vehicle under warranty

3) There are no special service campaigns for bed replacements, nor has there ever been one. Any bed that 'was' replaced was under factory "goodwill", to maintain customer satisfaction.
