Question about Mazda Cars & Trucks
Hello Jerry Nelson,
Door ajar light... typically means "a door is ajar"
Assuming the car is undamaged, no dents, bent doors or bullet holes: you have a wiring fault.
You should go around your vehicle and inspect each door, find the switch... With all the other doors closed ... operate & release the switches in sequence... until you run out of switches... and find NOTHING UNTOWARD.
See if you can remove the switches and disconnect the wire...
If you still have found nothing... restore EVERYTHING to it's original condition.
Most of these "switches" will operate for the full life-cycle of the vehicle. If you cannot figure out which door is causing your problem... TAKE YOUR CAR to a highly recommended
MECHANIC... and let then find the electric issue.
Popular USA market vehicle CIRCUIT Drawings (and TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETINS) can be found on the BBB Industries website (see below: registration required).
Hope this helps.
