This is a tech check trouble. GM on some cars have a electronic device at the gage that goes bad. This is replaceable. Sometime the fuel pump is the cause as it starts to go bad.

My gas gauge is going crazy

You have to replace the fuel level sensor. And you would have to remove the fuel tank to do this

2000 oldsmobile bravada, won't start. I replaced

This sounds familiar to me. I assume you replaced the fuel filter, if not, do so. Anyway, the same thing happened to be and I made it to the garage somehow and they said it was the pump, located inside the tank. 3 days later I picked it up and paid $350.00. It happened again a month later and I had it towed home ( the service garage changed hands and would not honor warranty). I unbolted and unstrapped the gas tank with a jack under it. The gauge said 1/4 tank so I figured on 40 lbs of fuel plus the tank.....wrong.... The tank was empty and the fuel pump had never been replaced. I has just never run my tank down that low before, so I had no way of knowing the gauge/float was miscalibrated. You never know....

Engine runs short time, then low oil pressure, then shuts off.

try replacing the oil sending unit, it is located at the back of the intake. it is about two inches long. it is black. it ties into the fuel injection system.hope this helps.

1998 olds Bravada, runs great in the driveway, once in gear, i give it gas and it quits, only happens in cold weather

Bad TPS will give you a SES light. Possible low fuel pressure from bad fuel pump. Put a fuel pressure gauge on the service port close to the firewall, should stay above 50 psi when juicing the gas. Only use OEM parts on a Bravada! Try "thepartsladi" store on eBay.

98 bravada gas gauge fluctuates rapidly from E to

sound like a problem with your sending unit inside the gas tank with fuel pump or gauge in dash defective but with GM usually it is the sending unit

If all the other gauges are working, then it is definately the sending unit. Mine is out at the moment and has been all summer. Pain in the **** to fix so haven't yet. Have to know however cause the fuel pump went out. Gonna kill 2 birds with 1 stone. We have just been using the digital reader for fuel used to know how much gas is in it. The gas gauge will bounce between half and full but never go below half.
