You will need to test for voltage .You will need a muilti meter . First disconnect the neg B wire from the battery them hock from the positive side of the bat to the engine block or any good ground if you read voltage with the neg off the bat then you have a short in the system .Vary small DC. voltage could be static .05 and lower any thing 1.0 v or higher is a short 5.0 V range is a motor shorting .
At this point test the battery for weak or dead cells you can get a battery tester for 5 to 10 dollars if this it least 12 v and all cells test good .Next reconnect the ground to the battery check the positive R wire to bat.for solid connection .
Now we have to go to the fuse box with the same meter a good idea would get some jumper leads so you can clip the leads on and have your hands free .Start testing for 12 V DC.on the main wires R. and Y usually but they will be the largest wires.
The fuse box will have the map or if you have the owners manual .Test main power lines at fuse box from bat .12v DC. to good ground clips .hands free you can trust the tests If you test from the battery to the fuse box and your sure that's good you need to go to the ignition switch .This gives you a 3 point test area anything could be tested if you can figure out what you need to know to fix the problem Via your tests its not about taking things apart .Its figuring out where to make the tests the easiest test with the least amount of waist with the best information thinking is free .I think let me know

Hello i have found with Fords this is a common PROBLEM and easy to fix. If this is the problem all you have to do is jack up car just enough to see the back side of the starter and the solenoid they used a push on style connector for the ignition to kick over the starter almost always this wire falls off. My grand parents have 2 of these cars with the 4.6 LT and i ended up soldering the connectors on because they fell off so much. Hope this helps

My PRNDL don't work, loose shift indicator won't go into gear. Plenty of transmission fluid, no obvious wear or breakage, what do I do now?

When you turn the key to the ON position are there any instrument lights on the dash? Does the radio work? If not, dead battery.

Ac does not work

It may have a controller that has failed. The system may not work if the blower is dead. There are a dozen or more components involved.
You'll need someone to check and see if the blower motor is getting voltage and go from there.

When I turnignition on nothing happens. no sound no click battey is still good

If you say the battery is good then i would check the starter, with a test light there are two wires at the starter, one big cable from the battery should have power at all times the other wire should have power when the key is in the crank postion, so if someone holds the key in crank while you test starter there should be power at the small wire oon starter, if theres power then starter is no good, also try to start in neutral and make sure car is in park good.
