Either the low beam fuse is out or the headlight switch has failed.

2005 honda acc'd lx front lights low beam out but high beams are fine. fuse box under hood both h & low beams use same fuse is there a different fuse I am unaware of in the circuit that I can check?

The low beams have a different fuse then the high beams. High beams fuse's 3 & 5 both 10amp . low beams are 1 & 6 both 10 amp . plus there is a relay control module . The relay for the low beams could be bad ,or the light dimmer switch is bad . or the combination switch control unit is the culprit . You can find a wiring diagram at http://bbbind.com/free_tsb.html . Check out some basic electrical trouble shooting videos on you tube an test the circuit .That's best advice I can give , trouble shooting automotive electrical systems is no easy task . Especially for a rookie . Headlamp switches are not wired directly to the headlamps , the switch is a low voltage input to the combination switch control unit ,which then sends a signal to the relay control module for activation . My high beams work but my low beams don't bulbs are ok and fuses seem all to be ok this is on a Kia Sorento 2005 any ideas plz

Hi / Lo beam switch is one spot.. Have you checked for 12V on the low beam wire(s) to the bulb? Keep checking back to where 12 V is and repair or replace the part of the circuit or component / connection between 12V and 0V.

Low beams not working after new switch, swapping relays, new bulb

Well there is a fuse and a low beam relay. The relay is grounded by the dimmer switch and the lights are grounded at the light socket in the wiring. The relay is also powered by the ignition switch.
Do you have power at the relay and the low beam circuit at the light? I'm assuming you have a good ground at the light if the high beam circuit works.

2001 kia optima headlights issues

Each light has its own fuse. Have you checked them? Maybe try switching two of them to see if they swap which one works... Once in a while a fuse that looks good has actually gone bad. Comment on this post if this doesn't help and we can move to the next step. Good luck!

Check the low beam relay . Look here for location http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info. year , make , model and engine size. Under system click on electrical distribution , then under subsystem click on relay . Click the search button then the blue link . Look at left side near the bottom ,HEAD LP LO . Right above #5 and #4 fuse's . Do you know how to test at relay base ,that's where it plugs into. Watch this video .

Kia optima low beams

First verify that the switch is energizing the relay in both positions by turning the low beams on and then pulling up the relay--does it click? If not, replace the switch. If yes, next check for power on the red wire as it comes out of the column. Switch on, no power--replace the switch. If power, check for power at the head-low fuse in the engine compartment fuse box. No power--find break in wire. If power, check for power on the yellow/red wire as it comes out of the fuse box. No power--repair fuse box. Power--check for power at lamps--same wire. No power--repair yellow/red wire.
