Air bags wont fill up

I replaced the timing cover gasket to fix an oil leak and changed all the fluids, then when i went to take the truck off the jack stands and fill up the bags, they simply wouldnt fill up. at first the power to the switches got disconnected so we fixed that, but now i can hear the valves opening when i hit the switches, but no air is being pushed out to the bags. i let the compressor run for about 10 minutes, and still nothing. got any possible answers?

WHY WONT RADIATOR FILL ITS NOT LEAKING ANYWHERE,BUT WONT FILL UP?

If you are pouring coolant into the radiator and it wont get full, then there is a problem. Seeing as the coolant system is of a finite value, one cannot put an infinite amount of water into it. I would venture a guess that if you pulled the dipstick out to check your oil level, you might find out where the water went. If you find water in the oil, then you have a cracked head, cracked block, or leaking head gasket. If not there, check the transmission fluid since many vehicles have a transmission oil cooler inside the radiator.

How to change Rear differential fluid for 2002 Chevy Suburban

You need to take out the bolts holding the cover on but leave 2 in it one on eather side then pop it open with a flat head screw driver make sure u got an oil pan under it first . Then replace your gasket and put the cover back on, as for filling it there is a bolt on the front side of the axle and its usually a square hole that a 3/8 drive rachet will fit in u stick the rachet in it and take it out. Then you fill it up with the suggested gear oil and the specified amount.

I have a 2000 beetle turbo and just notices it is leaking oil from around the plug which is tight and seeping transmission fluid. Is this going to be a costly fix?

OIL LEAK AROUND THE SPARKS PLUGS COULD BE LEAKING VALVE COVER GASKETS ALLOWING OIL TO SEEP BY GASKET FLOW DOWN AROUND SPARK PLUGS.TRANSMISSION LEAK IS NOT VERY EXPENSIVE LONG AS TORQUE CONVERTER SHAFT SEAL NOT LEAKING WHICH TRANSMISSION HAS TO DROPPED OUT TO REPLACE SHAFT SEAL.IF TRANSMISSION LEAK AROUND FRONT AXLE SEAL IT MAY COST A LITTLE.BUT PAN GASKET LEAK OR OIL COOLER LINES WONT COST TOO MUCH NOT HARD TO GET TO REPAIR.PHONE AROUND GET PRICE CHECKS.

Leaking oil

Your car has several different types of oils or fluids (motor oil, transmission oil, power steering fluid/oil, brake fluid, and differential oil - if applicable). . Before you can determine how to fix your problem, you need to determine exactly what you problem is, meaning you need to figure out what fluid is leaking.

Good Luck!

Leaking oil from reart diff

Where is it leaking from? Around the edges of the cover?
You may need to make a new gasket for it.
Drain oil by remove lower bolts and slightly prying on cover so fluid starts draining.
Slowly make your way up to the top bolts until it's completely empty.
Remove cover, clean old gasket off housing and cover.
Attain gasket maker from any auto store, and spread a even amount around edge of housing, where the cover and housing touch..
Replace cover, fill with oil, and see if this stops the leaking. If not, you may have just rusted out the cover, after years of wear and rust (depending on the year of the vehicle) and may need to simply replace the cover.

Only major problem is it would be leaking from the side or where the drive shaft enters the housing, which would require new seals, and a bit more work!

I hope this helps!

SPARK PLUGS FULL OF OIL

Do you notice a puddle under the car? Or smoking when you shut it off? The rocker cover gaskets are the culprit. If you have the spark plugs in a well inside the rocker cover, the will fill up with oil and also leak out the back. You can replace the gaskets, a fairly easy job, you have to pull everything off the top of the engine to get the covers off. And they give you the new seals for the spark plug well with the gasket kit. They only go about 10 years, I replaced mine and they are starting to leak again. Hope this helps.

Red fluid dripping from bottom of car, is comming from a black cover (maybe transmision oil?)

Red fluid it auto matic transmission fluid. The black cover is the bottom of the transmission where the transmission filter is. Most of the time.. unless you recently had the transmission filter changed is inthe hose area where the hoses fromthe radiator connect to the transmission.

It is still quite possible for your transmission pan gasket to be leaking. Most of the time people think that by just tightening up the bolts that they fix the leak when in fact the over torque the boltrs and it leaks even more. If the transmission pan gasket is leaking buy a new gasket making sure the bolts are tightened per the manufactures torques.
