Connecting a new stereo with red for AC power, black for ground, Yellow for battery fuse wire. The car stereo wiring has orange, black, yellow but no red wire. it has 3 others as well

Orange is your steady power source and Yellow is your switched power source so your new stereo would connect Red to Yellow and Yellow to Orange in most cases but it is best to use a test light to check before making connections.

Radio wiring code for 1987 mercedes benz 300. With aftermarket radio the windows switch ligths blinks and have no instrument ligths.

Hi, the aftermarket stereo does not use the illumination wire. You must tape that wire off (purple/gray). That wire is either connected to the wrong place or is touching chassis ground and causing your instrument lights to dim.
Connect the stereo's red wire to the car's black/yellow wire; and connect the stereo's yellow wire to the car's red/white wire.

How to find positive power 12 volts and ingnition switch 12 volts

Should have said that in the first place. Use a test light and locate the wire that is hot on the ignition switch with the key off. (to avoid constant draw, turn the key to the "on position after locating the one that is hot all the time, then find the thickest hot wire on the other side of the switch that is hot in the "on" position. The switch itself is located on top of the steering column under the dash and generally is easier to reach if you remove the plastic covers and the bolts that hold the column on the dash. You can use any of those bolts to attach your ground wire.
